- (And) (she/it) went: third-person feminine singular vav-consecutive imperfect (hence past tense) of הָלַךְ (halách).
- Tanach, Exodus 2:8, with translation of the King James Version:
- וַתֵּלֶךְ הָעַלְמָה וַתִּקְרָא אֶת אֵם הַיָּלֶד
- And the maid went and called the child's mother.
