- (And) (she/it) said: third-person feminine singular vav-consecutive imperfect (hence past tense) of אָמַר (amár).
- Exodus 2:6, with translation of the King James Version:
- וַתַּחְמֹל עָלָיו וַתֹּאמֶר מִיַּלְדֵי הָעִבְרִים זֶה
- And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children
