הָשֵׁב • (hashév)

1. Masculine singular imperative of הֵשִׁיב (heshív).
   • Tanach, Exodus 4:7, with Young's Literal Translation:

     הָשֵׁב יָדְךָ אֶל חֵיקֶךָ

     hashév yad'chá él chekécha

     Put back thy hand unto thy bosom

2. infinitive absolute of הֵשִׁיב (heshív).
   • Tanach, Exodus 23:4, with translation of the English Standard Version:

     כִּי תִפְגַּע שׁוֹר אֹיִבְךָ […] תֹּעֶה הָשֵׁב תְּשִׁיבֶנּוּ לוֹ

     kí tifgá shór oyivchá […] toé hashév t'shivénu ló

     If you meet your enemy’s ox […] going astray, you shall bring it back to him
