Verb

הֶעֱבִיר • (he'evír) (hif'il construction, passive counterpart הועבר / הָעֳבַר)

1. (transitive) To hand over, transmit, bring or take across, transfer, pass.

   הוא העביר לה את המלח. ― hu he'evír la et hamélakh. ― He passed her the salt.

   ותעבירם להורים באופן אישי. ― v'ta'aviram lahorim b'ofen ishi. ― and you will hand them over personally to the parents.

     וַיָּסַר הַמֶּלֶךְ אֶת־טַבַּעְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר הֶעֱבִיר מֵהָמָן וַיִּתְּנָהּ לְמָרְדֳּכָי וַתָּשֶׂם אֶסְתֵּר אֶת־מָרְדֳּכַי עַל־בֵּית הָמָן׃

     wayyāsēr hammeleḵ ʾeṯ-ṭabbaʿăttô ʾăšer heʿĕḇîr mêhāmān wayyittənāh ləmordŏḵāy wattāśem ʾestēr ʾeṯ-mordŏḵāy ʿal-bêṯ hāmān.

     And the king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it unto Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.
