- behind, backward
- յետս յետս չոգան ― yets yets čʻogan ― they fell back
- յետս ընդդէմ ― yets ənddēm ― backward; in an opposite sense, in the contrary directions, against the grain, in a wrong sense or way, contrariwise; contrary, against, opposite, inverse
- ձախողակի յետս ընդդէմքն պատահեաց նմա ― jaxołaki yets ənddēmkʻn pataheacʻ nma ― everything went wrong with him; fortune was against him
- յետս, յետս ընդդէմ դառնալ ― yets, yets ənddēm daṙnal ― to turn back, to retrace one's steps, to return, to go or come back
- կապել զձեռս յետս ― kapel zjeṙs yets ― to tie the hands behind one
