An Iranian borrowing: compare Middle Persian [Book Pahlavi needed] (dypʾhl /⁠dēbahr⁠/, anger), Parthian 𐫅𐫏𐫁𐫍𐫡𐫃 (dybhrg /⁠dēbahrag⁠/, banished).

Usage notes

Attested only in the locative ի դիպահոջ (i dipahoǰ), also spelled ի դիպահւոջ (i dipahwoǰ).
