անգոն կոռոնաւոր
Appearance
Old Armenian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]As noticed by J̌ahukyan, the constituents are clearly from Ancient Greek ἀγκών (ankṓn, “bend, angle, etc.”) and κορώνη (korṓnē, “crown; end”) + -աւոր (-awor), so that the formation means something like “crowned arch”.
Noun
[edit]անգոն կոռոնաւոր • (angon koṙonawor)
- one of the seven belts of heaven in ancient astronomy
