From Arabic أَلُوسَن (ʔalūsan), an Arabicized form of Ancient Greek ἄλυσσον (álusson).

      Իշաքեղ· որ է վառվռուկն, որ է ալուսանն․ եւ ինքս յիշած է ի գրքին յառաջն ի վերայ այբին։
      Išakʻeġ· or ē vaṙvṙukn, or ē alusann; ew inkʻs yišac ē i grkʻin yaṙaǰn i veray aybin.
