Etymology

From *yaŋï-dan /*yaŋa-dan (again, anew), originally ablative of Proto-Turkic *yaŋï, Proto-Turkic *yaŋa. Cognate with Kazakh жаңадан (jañadan), Kyrgyz жаңыдан (jaŋıdan), Kumyk янгыдан (yañıdan), Turkish yeniden, Uzbek yangidan, Bashkir яңыдан (yañıdan), etc.
