[edit]Inherited from Old Slovak se, from Proto-Slavic *sę, from Proto-Balto-Slavic *sen, from Proto-Indo-European *swé. Cognates include Czech se, Polish się, Slovak sa, Belarusian, Russian, and Ukrainian -ся (-sja).
