[edit]Uncertain. Probably from хәрс (xärs), itself from хәрх (xärx, “to return”) + -с (-s, optative suffix).

- Xädris, xädris! gildäd kövüd, küükd alʹxan taşldad, şavaş xayldad, şuugldad dögäj ögäd bäätsxana.
- "Come on, come on!", chanted boys and girls, applauding, cheering up and making a big noise.
