[edit]From New Latin chronologia, from Ancient Greek χρόνος (khrónos, “chronos”) + -λογία (-logía). With -ло́гія (-lóhija) ending. Compare Russian хроноло́гия (xronológija), Belarusian хранало́гія (xranalóhija), Polish chronologia.
