From Mongolian дуулга (duulga, helmet). Cognate with Kyrgyz туулга (tuulga), Old Anatolian Turkish توغلقه (toğulga, tuğulga), Old Anatolian Turkish توغلقه (toğulga, tuğulga), Azerbaijani dəbilqə, Kumyk давулгъа (dawulğa), Kazakh дұлыға (dūlyğa), etc.
