Etymology

From соҥ (soŋ, after) +‎ -ында (-ïnda, suffix), Proto-Turkic *soŋ (end). Cognate with Kazakh соңында (soñynda), Crimean Tatar soñra, Turkish sonunda, Uzbek so'ngra, Bashkir һуңында (huñında), Tatar соңында (soñında), Also Khakas соонда (soonda), etc.
