[edit]Blend of приве́т (privét, “hi”) + мя́у (mjáu, “meow”). Recorded since at least the 2000s. Had a boost in popularity in 2019 when it was used by singer Olga Buzova in episode 11 of YouTube game show Comment Out.[1]
