пищен
Appearance
Bulgarian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Reanalyzed from an earlier пи́шен (píšen), itself borrowed from Russian пы́шный (pýšnyj, “fluffy, lush”). The form with -щ- is formed by hypercorrection or possibly confused for native пи́ща (píšta, “food, nourishment”) + -ен (-en).
