[edit]Etymology
[edit]Ultimately from Greek παγούρι (pagoúri, “flask”); however, in view of the attested variants, more likely borrowed from Ottoman Turkish پاغوریه (pağuri) (where Turkish -ğ- can be reflected as -х-, -в-, -г- or -∅- in Bulgarian).
