[edit]Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Old Slovak nichto, nikto, from Proto-Slavic *nikъto.
Pronunciation
[edit]Pronoun
[edit]нїхто (njixto) m pers
Usage notes
[edit]- Prepositions always interpose нїхто (njixto) and нїч (njič) in inflected forms. For instance, the instrumental case is formed as нї з ким (nji z kim) or нї зоз ким (nji zoz kim) rather than *нїким (*njikim). For the instrumental and locative cases, this is the only way to form them, and a declined form as one word does not exist.
