1. like that, like this, in that way, so

   Тоннӭ быдт ныдтҍ тэнна лыһкэ. ― Tonn’e bydt nydt’ tenna lyhke. ― You have to do it like that.

   Ко̄ххт шэ ныдтҍ выйтэ? ― Kōxxt še nydt’ vyjte? ― How did it turn out like this?

2. so, to this or that extent

   Тэста ныдтҍ се̄ввьнэ лӣ, нимэ̄нн эмм уййн.

   Testa nydt’ sjēvv’ne lī, nimēnn emm ujjn.

   [It] is so dark here, [I] don't see anything.

   (literally, “I don't see nothing”)
