   Э́то не та кни́га. ― Éto ne ta kníga. ― This is the wrong book.

   Не на того́ напа́ли! ― Ne na tovó napáli! ― They chose the wrong man to make a fool of!

Usage notes

• Just like with most pronouns formed with the particle не (ne), prepositions are inserted between the не (ne) and the pronominal part of the phrase, e.g., не с того́ (ne s tovó), не на том (ne na tom), не по тому́ (ne po tomú) etc.
