Kazakh қырқу (qyrqu), Karakalpak qırq-, Kyrgyz кыркуу (kırkuu), Crimean Tatar qırqmaq, Kumyk къыркъмакъ (qırqmaq), Bashkir ҡырҡыу (qırqıw), Tatar кыркырга (qırkırga), Azerbaijani qırxmaq, Turkish kırkmak, Uzbek qirqmaq, Uyghur qirqimaq, Khakas хырғарға (xırğarğa), Western Yugur qïrq- (shave), etc.
