Etymology

Derived from дрижати (dryžaty), from Proto-Slavic *drъžati (to tremble, shiver). By surface analysis, дрижати (dryžaty, to tremble) +‎ -ак (-ak, nominalizing suffix) +‎ (-y, plural suffix).[1]
