- a certain something (implies that one knows what it is, but is deliberately refraining from naming what)
Usage notes
[edit]- With prepositions, де́що (déščo) is split into де (de) and що (ščo), with the preposition in between: де з чим (de z čym, “with something”), де в чо́му (de v čómu, “in something”), де про що (de pro ščo, “about something”) and so on.
