First attested in year 1615.[1] From деревяный (derevjanyj) +‎ -ный (-nyj). Secondary form is also attested in Old Czech dřevěnný (beside dřěvěný, dřěvený, drěvený?, dřevený) and dial. Polish drzewianny (beside obs. drzewiany).[2]
