[edit]Borrowed from Kumyk дарги (dargi, “Dargwa”) + -и́нец (-ínec), ultimately from Dargwa дарган, дарккван (dargan, darkkvan, the Dargwa autonym). Probably cognate with Dargwa дарг (darg, “inner”).
