From Middle Mongol ᠪᠢᠰᠢᠯᠭᠠᠬᠤ (bisilɣaqu), morphologically the causative of Middle Mongol ᠪᠢᠰᠢᠯᠠᠬᠤ (bisilaqu) with the same meaning. Perhaps related to ᠪᠤᠰᠢᠭᠤ (busiɣu)/ бушуу (bušuu, “clever, quick”).
