[edit]Besides for flowers of phylum Paeoniaceae, the word can be also applied for morphologically similar flowers such as field poppy (diallectally called бу́лка-божу́р (búlka-božúr), literally: “bride's peony”) or globeflower (known as плани́нски божу́р (planínski božúr), literally: “mountain peony”).
