Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (bezäk, “decoration, ornament”);[1] Tatar бизәк (bizäk), Kazakh безек (bezek), Uzbek bezak, Uyghur بېزەك (bëzek), Turkish bezek (“decoration, ornament”).
