  1. (linguistics, of a dialect (of Bulgarian)) featuring a reflex of yus (ѫ) with a value of /a/ (а), as opposed to /ɤ/ (ъ).
    В акавите говори, „мъж“ се казва „маж“.
    V akavite govori, „mǎž“ se kazva „maž“.
    In the a-reflex dialects, "mǎž" is said as "maž".
