A nickname borne by Ива́н Мстисла́вич, князь Кара́чевский (Iván Mstislávič, knjazʹ Karáčevskij, “Ivan Mstislavich, prince Karachevsky”, c. 1370–1417), whence the princes Khotetovsky took their name.
