Usage notes
[edit]In sense 2, МСК is used as a reference for the eleven time zones of Russia. A number with a minus is for the time zone west of Moscow, Kaliningrad Time (МСК−1, UTC+2); while any number with a plus is for the other nine time zones east of Moscow.
For example, МСК+5 means "five hours after Moscow Time", the time zone in Irkutsk (МСК+5, UTC+8).
