Borrowed from Hungarian Gyurányi, normalized with the suffix -ин (-in). Doublet of Дюрань (Djuranʹ) and possibly related to Дюра (Djura). Compare the variant Дюраньов (Djuranʹov), formed instead with a different possessive suffix -ов (-ov).
