Verb

- (intransitive) to withdraw; to give way to [with dative ‘someone’], make room, vacate
- (intransitive, after Homer) to go forward, advance
- (transitive) to have room for, contain
Usage notes
[edit]In Attic the middle form is usually used for the future.
