The active voice is rare and found only in post-Homeric poets. Attested active forms include:
- τεκμαίρει (third-person singular present indicative)
- τεκμήρατε (second-person plural first aorist imperative or unaugmented indicative)
- τέκμηρον (first-person singular or third-person plural unaugmented second aorist indicative)
