πύματος
Appearance
Ancient Greek
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Of unclear origin. Traditionally derived either from a derivative of Proto-Indo-European *pós (“afterwards”) or from Proto-Indo-European *h₂epo (“off, away”), and often compared with Sanskrit पुनर् (punar, “back, again”), but Beekes is skeptical.
