μάνδαλος
Appearance
Ancient Greek
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Technical word in -αλο- without etymology. The formation can hardly be Indo-European. Unrelated is ἀμάνδαλον (amándalon, “invisible”), in view of the divergent meanings.
