κράδη
Appearance
Ancient Greek
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Unknown. It is uncertain whether this word is the origin of κραδάω (kradáō, “to swing, brandish”) or if it is the opposite. Traditionally connected to Latin cardō (“hinge, pivot”), but this remains hypothetical.
