- 250 CE – 350 CE, Athenaeus, Deipnosophistae 3.114b:
- Σέλευκος μὲν δράμιν ὑπὸ Μακεδόνων οὕτως καλούμενον, δάρατον δ’ ὑπὸ Θεσσαλῶν.
- Séleukos mèn drámin hupò Makedónōn hoútōs kaloúmenon, dáraton d’ hupò Thessalôn.
- According to Seleucus, it is called "drámis" by the Macedonians, and "dáratos" by the Thessalians.
- Σέλευκος μὲν δράμιν ὑπὸ Μακεδόνων οὕτως καλούμενον, δάρατον δ’ ὑπὸ Θεσσαλῶν.
