[edit]From Scythian *kuzulaka (“striving, ambitious, energetic”), (cf. Khotanese kūys (“to seek, search”)).[1]
Possibly related to the name Κοζουλου (Kozoulou) and Κοζολα (Kozola) used by Kushan kings.[2]
Cognate with Gandhari 𐨐𐨂𐨯𐨂𐨫𐨂𐨐 (kusuluka).
