[edit]Etymology
[edit]From öjö (irregular alteration of ejö) + -kö (imperative suffix) + -'de (delayed suffix); unlike other imperatives, this form is lexicalized with -'de attached and never appears without it, and, when a delayed imperative is meant, a second -'de must be suffixed to the word.
For the initial vowel in the irregular root form *öjö, compare Trió ëepï, Panare ëpï.
Pronunciation
[edit]Verb
[edit]ö'kö'de
- singular imperative of ejö (“to come”)
