Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Sanskrit ज्ञाति (jñātí). Cognate with Ashokan Prakrit 𑀜𑀸𑀢𑀺 (ñāti, Girnar), 𑀦𑀸𑀢𑀺 (nāti, Kalsi).
