Etymology

Coined by Indian filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri in Urban Naxals: The Making of Buddha in a Traffic Jam, a 2018 book about his 2014 film Buddha in a Traffic Jam. Referring to the group's alleged ties with communist militants for left-wing beliefs, support for socialism, and hostility to Hindu nationalism.
