- One who, or that which, hogs.
- 1994, James J Wilhelm, Ezra Pound: The Tragic Years, 1925-1972:
- Against these heroes are the puritans, the hoggers of profit, the shysters, the obfuscators, the do-nothings.
- A stocking without a foot, worn by coal miners at work.
- (slang) A marijuana cigarette.
- (curling) A shot that comes to rest short of or on the far hog line and is removed from play.
- (rail transportation, slang) The engineer of a locomotive.
