Spanish

Etymology

[edit]

Literally, made [up like] an inlet (the geographical feature). Apparently, it's a metaphor because an inlet, or perhaps the sea itself, is narrow and majestic.

Adjective

[edit]

hecho un brazo de mar (feminine hecha un brazo de mar, masculine plural hechos un brazo de mar, feminine plural hechas un brazo de mar)

  1. (idiomatic) dressed to kill; dressed to the nines
