Etymology
[edit]From Paisaci Prakrit [Term?] (compare Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀕𑀸𑀠 (gāḍha, “thick”)), from Sanskrit गाढ (gāḍha, “thick, firm, dived into”). Cognate with Sindhi ڳاڙهو (g̈āṛho, “red”).
