  1. to center (to put or place in a certain relation to the center; to point (something) at the center)
    pazīstami divi paņēmieni, kā centrēt kuģu stūres: vai nu izmanto aizzīmēšanas galdus un parastās veices, vai arī stīgutwo procedures to center a ship's helm are known: either by using marking tables and a simple tow, or with a string
  2. (sports) to send the ball back to the center of the field
