"niech będę" is perfectly legal and should be in the table

Etymology and other remarks[edit]

  1. I confirm "niech będę" being ok, above
  2. I am missing "są" coming from Reconstruction:Proto-Indo-European/h₁sónts in the Etymology section.
  3. "Jestem Czesław" sounds and looks wrong, but I cannot put a wikifinger (VER) on it. I would use "Nazywam się Czesław" (My name is Czesław) only in usual situation, unless somebody reveals his identity, like this Batman case. ("I am that Czesław, that yous were talking about" - e.g. behind my back.)

I learned that simply when the object is an adjective, it is nominative, but when it has a noun, it is instrumental. Is it right this way? "Jestem Czesław", regarding this, must be incorrect grammatically. CERBERUS - ii iv iii (talk) 23:41, 10 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
