Pseudo-Hispanism, derived from English Jerusalem, inspired by Spanish Jerusalén, from Late Latin Ierusalem, Hierusalem, from Latin Hierosolyma, from Ancient Greek Ἰερουσαλήμ (Ierousalḗm), from Biblical Hebrew יְרוּשָׁלַיִם (Yərūšālayim). Displaced borrowed Herusalen.
