Etymology

From Classical Mongolian ᠰᠠᠭ (sag), borrowed from Turkic, originally a combination of a desiderative verb suffix *-sa- and *-k. Compare Karakhanid اَرسَك (erseg, nymphomaniac) and Mongolian эрсэг (erseg, nymphomaniac).
