The sanhyoŭk sannha, which is used in some Sanskrit and Pali loanwords (although alternative spellings usually exist); it is written above a consonant to represent the vowels /a/, /oa/, /ɔə/, /ea/. When it occurs with O-series consonants and a following , it is pronounced /e/. See also សំយោគសញ្ញា (sangyook saññaa).
